    Step 3

    Download

Click download and the file saves straight to your device with a clean file name based on the video title.

    Frequently asked questions

Is it legal to download YouTube videos?

Downloading your own videos, or videos you have permission to use, is fine. Downloading other creators’ videos may breach YouTube’s Terms of Service and copyright law - always get permission and only reuse content you have rights to.

Do I need to install anything?

No. The downloader is built into Branzly Creator Studio and runs in your browser.

Why can some videos not be downloaded?

Private, age-restricted, members-only or region-locked videos cannot be fetched, and some videos are protected by YouTube in a way that blocks server-side downloads entirely.

    Is the downloader free?

Yes - it is included with a free Branzly account, subject to a fair hourly download limit. Paid members get the same tool with priority access.
